15 Fun Facts About Ashley
Since we are getting started around here I thought it would be a good idea to share 15 fun facts about myself with you all. Here we go!
If my blood type could be anything, it would be coffee. I’m always telling myself I am going to cut back, but an iced coffee with light cream from Local Coffee here in San Antonio, or good ole Starbucks always makes my heart, and horrible caffeine habit, happy.
My favorite time of day is night time. No pun intended. I love the calm and quietness of the night. Which leads me into number 3.
I am a night owl. No ifs, and or buts, and unfortunately, my 4-year-old seems to have inherited that same gene so bed time can be a bit of a struggle.
After my husband and I came back from our honeymoon last year, I was severely bitten by the travel bug. One of my dream jobs would be to be paid to travel the world. I love experiencing different foods, cultures, and languages along with meeting new people.
No one believes me when I tell them I’m half-Mexican, but I am!
Naturally, my husband and daughter are my world.
Math and numbers are NOT my thing. I’ll take a history course on the 1800s over trigonometry or algebra any day.
People usually think I am a lot older than I really am.
I will always pick fruits over vegetables.
I’m obsessed with having plants and succulents all over my home. My poor husband probably feels like he lives in a jungle now..Oops! At least Kinley loves to help me water them, even if it means dumping an entire cup of water in One succulent pot!
I like to think of myself as a good planner, but I usually always end up being a hot mess. I guess that leaves me as a “just wing it” type of girl.
I have a serious, and I mean SERIOUS, problem not being able to hear people chew their food or swallow their drinks. Misophonia is real y’all!
I can understand Spanish almost fluently, but I pretend I don’t because then people want me to respond in Spanish and I’m a wee bit rusty on my speaking.
I am the perfect mix of a small town girl that grew up in a big city. Although San Angelo and its sweet simpleness will always have my heart, San Antonio and everything this big city offers has opened my eyes to the luxuries of life and bigger opportunities my heart longs for.
I truly believe that anything is possible with God and a strong mindset. You can achieve anything you want in life, as long as you keep the faith and work hard.
I hope you have enjoyed learning a little bit about me!
